The purpose of this study was to provide a structural model for testing the structural relationships between academic identity, internal motivation and self-efficacy as predictors of deep cognitive engagement among students. Participants were all students of Semnan University. The sample consisted of 400 students (204 boys and 196 girls) who were selected by stratified random sampling. Participants completed questionnaires of Self-Regulation Learning Strategies Questionnaire of Pintrich and DeGroot (1990), Study process questionnaire of Biggs, Kember and Leung (2001) Vallerand's Motivation Inventory Questionnaire, and Osborne's Educational Identity Questionnaire (1997). Data were tested using structural equation method. The results indicated that the educational identity pathway on deep cognitive engagement, academic identity on self-efficacy and internal motivation on deep cognitive engagement was significant and positive. The indirect effect of academic identity on deep cognitive engagement was positive and significant through self-efficacy and academic motivation. Therefore, in order to increase deep cognitive engagement, attention should be paid to motivational orientations, academic identity, and self-efficacy beliefs of students. The implications of the findings were discussed.

The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of the participatory and traditional teaching methods on academic etiquette, self-efficacy and self-regulation in students. The research method was a pretest-posttest design with a test group and a control group. The statistical population of this study was all boys of the 7th grade students who studied in the 2nd district of Rasht in the academic year 98-97 in public and non-governmental schools and 1320 people were in charge of the education department. The sample group, 40 students from the 7th grade, were selected randomly in cluster sampling and replaced in two groups (control and experiment). At first, self-esteem, self-efficacy and self-control questionnaires were used for both groups (pre-test). Subjects in the intervention group received a participatory training program in the form of 8 sessions of 90 minutes and one week, while the control group received the traditional teaching method. After this stage, both groups were evaluated by a questionnaire (retest). Findings showed that the implementation of participatory teaching method has a significant effect on academic eagerness (p <0/01); implementation of participatory teaching method has a significant effect on self-efficacy (p <0.01) and the implementation of participatory teaching method on self-regulation, Has a significant effect (p <0.01).

Paying attention to Total Quality Management in service organizations, especially universities, is vital. Hence, Payam Noor University, as an important institute of Higher Education, is required to continuously receive feedback from students, assess it and evaluate the training quality. Periodical quality assessment of training services is of high significance in continuously determining and enhancing the training quality. The subject of this research is regarding on the evaluation of the training quality at the Central Payam Noor University of Talesh. In order of assessing the training quality as deemed by students, the SERVQUAL model (Parasuraman et al. 1988) has been employed. The study uses a descriptive methodology and regarding data collection, it utilizes a survey method; it is also an applied research, objective-wise. The mentioned model has investigated the five of dimensions of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles, based on the GAP ANALYSIS MODEL, as viewed by students at the Central Payam Noor University of Talesh. The stratified random sampling has been carried out with 124 samples. Also, T-test and Friedman Test methods have been used for this study. Study results indicated that the widest gap was related to the tangibles and the narrowest ones were related to the dimensions of assurance and empathy. Based on the Friedman Test, the dimensions of assurance, responsiveness and empathy were of the highest priorities. In the end, based on students’ viewpoints, some suggestions are made regarding enhancing the quality of training services, using some statistical analyses.

The purpose of this study was to develop and design a model of organizational excellence in Northeast Iran University of Culture in 1398 which was conducted using a mixed (quantitative, qualitative) and exploratory approach. The study population consisted of two groups. Qualitative department, scientific community experts, Quantity of all invited faculty members, managers and deputies of Farhangian University based on Statistics Management Planning Organization of Khorasan Razavi, North and South provinces 732 persons. 302 people Nor were selected based on Morgan table to complete the questionnaire. To gather data in a quantitative section, a researcher-made questionnaire of organizational excellence was used, consisting of two main dimensions and two sub-dimensions of five empowerment criteria (leadership, policy and strategy, human resources, other resources and partnerships, processes) and four outcome measures (customer outcomes). , Staff results, performance results, community outcomes) were extracted from the results of qualitative interviews. To analyze the qualitative data, Grounded Theory method and t-test were used for significance of the relationship between variables. In this study, the value of t-dimensions of organizational excellence is estimated from 0.5 to 0.5 which is calculated more than the assumed t value (0.5). Therefore, considering the significance and positive of this coefficient, it can be stated that all the above dimensions have a positive and direct effect on it. The highest value for t is related to the principles of management and deployment, and the least to the satisfaction and motivation of employees.

AbstractThe aim of this research is to study the mediating role of mindfulness in the relationship of academic engagement and academic vitality. For this purpose the descriptive correlation method has been used. The research population includes 4834 female second-grade secondary high school students of Zanjan in the academic year of 2017-18 and using the relative multi-stage cluster sampling, The sample size was determined to be 400. In order to collect data, Dehghanizadeh and Husainichary’s academic vitality questionnaire (1391), Fredricks, Blumenfeld and Paris’s academic engagement questionnaire (2004), Freiberk's Mindfulness questionnaire (2006), were used. Data analysis and structural equation analysis were performed using Pearson correlation, and Lisrel and SPSS 18 softwares, respectively.The research findings indicate that the model is fitted and the research hypotheses are confirmed.The results show that academic engagement, beside the positive and meaningful direct relationship with academic vitality=0/10 ,(p<0.05), has a positive and significant relationship with academic vitality with the mediation of mindfulness and cognitive flexibility (indirectly) = 0/094,(p<0.01).Due to the findings of the present work, in order to increase educational vitality of students, we suggest that educational psychologists and educational consultants codify a suitable educational plan and teach them the methods to improve educational engagement and mindfulness. The present study was conducted with the aim of clarifying the existing and desirable situation of similar functions of institutional research in Babol Noshirvani University of Technology. The Survey population consisted of 70 experts of Babol Noshirvani University of Technology, 60 of whom were selected by stratified random sampling.The instrument used in this study was the standard questionnaire for the evaluation of institutional research functions that contained 37 pairs of corresponding questions, which were designed based on the five-point Likert scale. To analyze the data using Wilcoxon's tests, Spearman correlation using SPSS21 software was used. The findings showed that there is a gap in all aspects of institutional research.In the dimensions, from the highest to the lowest gap in this analysis are for policies, information authority, accountability, evaluation, research and decision making, communication and intermediate, the greatest gap is related to the assessment of the degree and success rate of graduates in engagement and entrepreneurship. From the evaluation point and the lowest gap is related to the relationship between universities and international institutions from communication point. There is a positive correlation between the between all of gaps. The status quo for institutional research is not meeting expectations from experts in Babol Noushirvani University of Technology. Given the effects and interactions of the gaps on each other, the adoption of a multifaceted decision-making approach to manage and reduce existing distances is inevitable.In this regard, the establishment of an institutional research office can be a good way to this achieve goals.

The purpose of this study was to determine the causal relationship between achievement goals and academic performance through mediating of academic buoyancy in secondary high school girl students in Ramhormoz. The research method was descriptive correlational. The study population consisted of all secondary high school girl students during the academic year of 2018. From this population, 302 students were selected by multistage cluster sampling. The instruments used included the achievement goals scale of Middleton & Midgley (1997), academic buoyancy scale of Hossein Chari and Dehghanizadeh (2012) and the students' average as an academic performance index. The present research performed based on TIMSS 2015 to identify the 4th grade students’ misconceptions in experimental science lesson. The second analysis method used as research method. The data of 8035 students that selected in TIMSS-2015 study as research sample considered in present research. Based on theoretical history considereations three misconceptions in geo-science, three misconceptions in physics science and four misconceptions in bioscience areas identified as common misconceptions amont primary school students in Science lessons that it could be investigated them by Persian students’ responses in TIMSS-2015 study. The misconceptions such as light intensity changes due to change of distance between sun and earth, earth rotation around the sun, the fixed situation of moon and its light intensity (the geo-science area), the bulb as electricity energy production source and the plastic as the best thermal conductor (the physic sicence area), food eating by all live creatures and considering the trees as non-alive creatures (bio-science area) verified among Persian students but three other misconceptions didn’t verify. By given to obtained results in relation to three misconceptions that identified in geo-science area, the attention to effective training the planetary conceptions and correcting the present misconceptions become more important than before. In addition, the high rate of misconceptions that identified in physics science in relation to thermal condoctur showed that it is necessary to emphasis on this part more.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to predict emotional exhaustion based on the dimensions perfectionism and teachers, emotions. Method: The research method was correlation and the statistical population consisted of all elementary school teachers in Tehran during the academic year 1397-1396. The randomized cluster sampling method was selected randomly from regions 7, 2, 18, 5, and 10, and from each area 2 were girls' elementary schools and 2 boys and all elementary teachers who wanted to cooperate from each elementary school. The sample size was 225 (117 males and 108 females). The data were collected using Maslash et al. (2001) teachers, emotions of Chen teacher (2016) and Hill et al. (2004) perfectionism questionnaires. Results: The results showed from emotional dimensions of teachers, emotions, dimension happiness and love, with beta coefficient (-0/212) and (-0/201) predicted negative and significant emotional exhaustion. The dimensions of sadness, anger, and fear predicted positive and significant emotional exhaustion with beta coefficient (0.727), (0.414) and (0.159). Negative perfectionism with beta coefficient (0.186) predicted positive and significant emotional exhaustion. Positive perfectionism was able to negatively predict emotional exhaustion in elementary teachers, negatively and significantly with beta coefficient (-0/326). Conclusion: Creating the ground for positive emotions in teachers as well as teaching methods for coping with negative perfectionism can decrease emotional exhaustion in elementary school teachers in Tehran.

The purpose of this study is to identify and prioritize the components of the entrepreneurial university. In this research, in order to summarize and aggregate the findings of previous researches, the meta-synthesis method has been used. First, by searching in various scientific documents databases, 842 primary sources, some of which were referred to the entrepreneurial university (third generation university), were extracted. Then, considering the relevance to the research, the initial sources were seived and 75 sources were selected for the final consideration. Subsequently, by using content analysis and open and axial coding of selected resources, 20 factors were identified in five main categories 1- Strategy and leadership, 2- Structure and processes, 3- Culture, 4- Education system and 5- Network of relationships as the main components and categories of the formation of an entrepreneurial university. Finally, the weight and priority of these components as inputs of policy making in the field of higher education to push the universities of the country towards the entrepreneurial university, is calculated and presented using the group analytic hierarchy process and judgments of seven experts in the field of higher education. Accordingly, the five components of leadership, organization, resource management, entrepreneurial attitudes, and laws are of the highest importance. By the end, to facilitate transition to the entrepreneurial university some suggestions were presented regarding important components.
