Empowering the teaching staff is required for the development and progress of education-oriented organizations in the face of global changes. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to elaborate on the background model of strategies and consequences of competitive advantages based on the empowerment of faculty members and university professors. In this applied paper, a qualitative methodology based on the foundation theory was employed. The study population consisted of educational elites (faculty members and experienced professors) in non-profit and private universities and institutions of higher education in Mashhad. The subjects were selected using snowball sampling. The data collection tool was a semi-structured interview and the data obtained from the interviews were coded and analyzed. After grouping the codes, 10 main categories, 57 sub-categories and 50 concepts were obtained, which were organized in a paradigm model as strategies (strategic thinking, organizational transformation, organizational innovation and career innovation) and consequences (organizational culture development, organizational development, productivity and social development, environmental development and strategic thinking). The results suggested the process of developing competitive advantage strategies based on empowering university professors. Given the broad range of a university’s customers, it is recommended that the managers of higher education institutions develop expert projects to identify and foster the necessary capabilities and competencies for university professors, recruiting human resources based on their skills and capabilities. The universities will continue to grow in the field of education and research, and this growth will lead to the development of a competitive advantage

The aim of the study was to provide a model for prediction of addiction to social media based on tendency toward narcissistic personality and the need to communicate with mediation the approval of students. The descriptive research method and a sample of correlation schemes. The statistical population included all male and female high school students living in Tehran, and 300 students were selected applying multi-stage cluster random method. Research tools include: We employed the questionnaire of the tendency and extent of application of Momeni and Taghi Lou social Media (2016), Narcissist Personality Questionnaire,40-item version (NPI-40) (1988), Relationship Scale of primary needs Deci and Ryan (2000), the Confirmation Scale of the Questionnaire Ineffective Attitudes Ebrahimi & musavi (2008). The findings showed that there is a significant effect between tendency toward narcissistic personality, the need to communicate and the approval with social media addiction (p=0/01). Also, the proposed model had a good fit (c2/df=2/87, CFI=0.925, AGFI=0/887, GFI=0.973, RMSEA=0.079) and the results support the mediating role of the approval in relation to narcissistic personality and the need for communication and social media addiction. The conclusion was that the hypothetical research model was well-adapted using structural equation modeling (SEM), and the main research hypothesis was confirmed. According to the research results, in order to reduce addiction to social networks, the satisfaction of basic psychological needs (the need for communication and seeking approval) can be taught to families in the context of the parent-child relationship.

This study aimed to determine the mediating role of academic motivation in the relationship between IQ and academic resilience. This research was a survey research with correlation study (structural equations). The sample consisted of 350 high school female students in Bojnourd in the academic year of 2015-2016 who were selected by multistage cluster sampling. Sample members completed the Samutelz Resilience Questionnaire (2004), Harter Academic Motivation Questionnaire (1981), and Abdul Fattah and Yates (2006) Intelligence Beliefs. Data analysis was performed using SPSS-21 and AMOS-21 software and structural equation modeling method. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between academic motivation, IQ and academic resilience (P<0.01), but academic motivation did not play a significant mediating role between IQ and academic resilience (P <0.05). According to the results, it can be said that IU beliefs and academic motivation are very important in the formation of academic resilience, but academic motivation alone can play a mediating role between IQ beliefs and academic resilience and it is necessary to influence others. Psychological and contextual variables to be examined.
