The aim of the study was to provide a model for prediction of addiction to social media based on tendency toward narcissistic personality and the need to communicate with mediation the approval of students. The descriptive research method and a sample of correlation schemes. The statistical population included all male and female high school students living in Tehran, and 300 students were selected applying multi-stage cluster random method. Research tools include: We employed the questionnaire of the tendency and extent of application of Momeni and Taghi Lou social Media (2016), Narcissist Personality Questionnaire,40-item version (NPI-40) (1988), Relationship Scale of primary needs Deci and Ryan (2000), the Confirmation Scale of the Questionnaire Ineffective Attitudes Ebrahimi & musavi (2008). The findings showed that there is a significant effect between tendency toward narcissistic personality, the need to communicate and the approval with social media addiction (p=0/01). Also, the proposed model had a good fit (c2/df=2/87, CFI=0.925, AGFI=0/887, GFI=0.973, RMSEA=0.079) and the results support the mediating role of the approval in relation to narcissistic personality and the need for communication and social media addiction. The conclusion was that the hypothetical research model was well-adapted using structural equation modeling (SEM), and the main research hypothesis was confirmed. According to the research results, in order to reduce addiction to social networks, the satisfaction of basic psychological needs (the need for communication and seeking approval) can be taught to families in the context of the parent-child relationship.

This survey is done in order to determining the effect of emotional regulation on academic resilience and test anxiety of high school female students. The method of this study is a kind of pre and post-test experiment with group control. For this purpose, 40 students from 31 schools were selected after performing the screening pre-test and put into two groups (group one: with emotion regulation trainings, group two: without training) randomly. The first group then received ten training sessions while the other did not get any training. For pre and post-tests, academic resilience and test anxiety questionnaires were applied. Data then were analyzed using Analysis of Covariance test. Results showed that emotional regulation is effective on reducing test anxiety and enhancing academic resilience.

This study seeks to identify the components and content analysis of the curriculum of empirical sciences based on the document of fundamental change (case study of fifth grade curriculum) in the academic year 1398-1989. The research method is a hybrid design that is conducted in two qualitative phases of content analysis with inductive categorization and in quantitative phase of content analysis by Shannon model. The statistical population of this study is in the qualitative level of the upstream documents of the Iranian education system and in the quantitative level of the fifth grade elementary science books. Data were collected using researcher-made journals and tables that were used to record and identify the components of the fifth grade elementary science book. At the qualitative level, 60 items and 24 components were extracted from fundamental transformation document and analyzed using Shannon entropy model in quantitative phase, 47 items and 22 components from elementary fifth grade curriculum. The results showed that in the fifth elementary empirical science textbook the highest importance coefficient was related to the scientific viewpoints on issues and events, participation in activities, training of entrepreneurship basics and the lowest coefficient of utilization of virtual environments and media to enhance learning, It created a variety of educational opportunities for students with special needs, created opportunities to launch and form learner-made science exhibitions and the ability to work and use digital resources.

Student's maladaptive behaviors are behaviors that are not compatible with the views of parents, schoolchildren, community, and school. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of self-regulation strategies training on academic self-efficacy and educational adaptability of maladaptive female students in second-grade high school in Kerman. This research is applied in terms of its purpose and in terms of how to collect experimental data such as quasi-experimental, pseudo-test, post-test, and control group. The statistical population of this study includes maladaptive female students in Secondary Schools in District 2 of Kerman. The research sample was 30 maladaptive students who were identified by incompatible high school students' compatibility test and then divided randomly into two experimental and control groups (each group of 15). They were the experimental group received 8 sessions of 90 minutes’ self-regulation strategies and the control group did not receive any training during this period. Data were analyzed using statistical methods such as mean, standard deviation and covariance analysis. The results showed that self-regulation strategies training had a significant effect on academic self-efficacy and academic adjustment of maladaptive students at the level of P <0.01. Self-regulation training to use cognitive strategies and meta-cognitive strategy is presented to maladaptive students, in order to lessen the academic inconsistency and academic self-efficacy of such students.

The data of the present research was initially collected by using research findings systematic review for the study of the organizational factors effective on teachers’ efficiency and motivation. Then the meta-analysis method was used to respond to questions. The statistical population of this research includes all researches which were conducted inside Iran in the field of factors effective on teachers’ efficiency and motivation between 1996 to 2016. On this basis, the statistical population was identified and relevant data was coded by internet research in internal data banks and also manual search in Tehran universities. Finally, 18 studies were included in the present meta-analysis. To collect the required data meta-analysis, worksheet form was used. Data analysis results show that the size index of studies compound effect was 0.10 under the fixed model and 0.17 under the random model. In the separation study of the size of variables effect, the organization health factors, organizational climate, students’ motivation, director’s attention, and relationship-oriented management style, had the highest effect on the teachers’ efficiency and motivation, respectively. In egger’s regression method, the regression constant was estimated equal to 0.01 which its level of significance is less than 0.05; therefore according to the egger’s regression, publication bias exists. Also, moderating analysis was done for variables of publication year and place of carrying out the research which shows the ineffectiveness of moderating variables of the year of conduction of the research and the place of conduction of the research on the studies’ results.

The purpose of this study was to identify academic success and failure factors based on the lived experiences of successful students and students who were placed on academic probation. This study is a qualitative research using phenomenology method and purposive sampling. Twelve semi-structured interviews were carried out with 10 female and 2 male students who were placed on academic probation, and eight semi-structured interviews were carried out with 6 female and 2 male of students with an grade point average above 17. The interviews were recorded and transcribed and then, the data were analysed using the Colizzii analysis method. Regarding the academic success antecedent, 2 main areas of individual factors and social factors and the academic probation antecedent including individual, family,peer and educational factors were extracted from the analysis of data. Similarly, in comparing groups, 10 subthemes, but with different orientations, were obtained from analyses.These subtems are Previous academic performance, goals, interests, skills study, effort, hope, location control, compliance with the conditions, motivational impacts of friends and family circumstances, that can be considered by counselors in intervention programs.

AbstractThe aim of this research is to study the mediating role of mindfulness in the relationship of academic engagement and academic vitality. For this purpose the descriptive correlation method has been used. The research population includes 4834 female second-grade secondary high school students of Zanjan in the academic year of 2017-18 and using the relative multi-stage cluster sampling, The sample size was determined to be 400. In order to collect data, Dehghanizadeh and Husainichary’s academic vitality questionnaire (1391), Fredricks, Blumenfeld and Paris’s academic engagement questionnaire (2004), Freiberk's Mindfulness questionnaire (2006), were used. Data analysis and structural equation analysis were performed using Pearson correlation, and Lisrel and SPSS 18 softwares, respectively.The research findings indicate that the model is fitted and the research hypotheses are confirmed.The results show that academic engagement, beside the positive and meaningful direct relationship with academic vitality=0/10 ,(p<0.05), has a positive and significant relationship with academic vitality with the mediation of mindfulness and cognitive flexibility (indirectly) = 0/094,(p<0.01).Due to the findings of the present work, in order to increase educational vitality of students, we suggest that educational psychologists and educational consultants codify a suitable educational plan and teach them the methods to improve educational engagement and mindfulness. The present study was designed to develop a Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making model for choosing school principals based on Managerial Competency Criteria. This study has a combination exploratory design. An in-depth review of literature was carried out to extract the initial competency criteria. Semi-structured interviews were held with 25 professors and experts in education management, selected through network sampling from universities across the country, and the pre-model was accordingly modified and the sub-criteria were determined. Competency questionnaire was implemented in a sample of Isfahan school principals and then, the verification of the confirmatory factor analysis, the questionnaire was corrected. The sample size was determined based on the Cochran formula of 368 people. The questionnaire was distributed among a sample size of 51 school principals selected through purposive sampling from Isfahan Education Department by referral sampling, and the final model was thus developed. The hierarchical structure of the competency criteria, including the main individual, occupational and organizational criteria, 12 secondary criteria and, 74 sub-criteria was determined. The criteria and sub-criteria were ultimately ranked using the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process and based on the views of fifteen experts, selected through network sampling, the final model was developed. The findings demonstrated that occupational competencies were the core criterion, and human competencies ranked first among their sub-criteria. Eventually, based on the Fuzzy Inference Systems and according to opinions of eight experts, the Fuzzy rules database were formed and, using its outputs a model for choosing school principals were developed.

The purpose of this research is to design curricula with the approach of globalization and preservation of cultural identity and validation of it from the point of view of experts. The curriculum with a global approach based on Klein's model includes objectives, content, teaching and learning strategies, materials and educational resources, learning activities, training time, learning space, learner grouping, curriculum evaluation. The statistical population of this study consists of all experts and curriculum specialists. To determine the required sample size, a targeted sample of 40 people is used. Data collection is a researcher-made questionnaire. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics are used to analyze the data. After validity, the CVR content validity ratio and the CVI content validity index, 14 items in the goals section, 10 content classes, 5 teaching and learning strategies, 5 educational materials and resources, 5 learning activities, 6 training time points, 6 items of training space, 7 groups were grouped, 5 evaluation points, totally 62 items.

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of character strengths on academic well-being and academic engagement with mediating of use of character strengths. For this purpose, 354 students were selected by multistage random sampling from twelve schools of Ghale Ganj city, that filled out the Values in Practice Questionnaire (Patterson & Seligman, 2004), School Well-being Questionnaire (Tian, Wang, and Hanbury, 2014), Academic engagement Questionnaire (Meng & Jin, 2016), and the use of Character Strength Questionnaire (Gavinji and Linley ,2007). The structural equation modeling and bootstrapping method was used to test the proposed model and relationship between paths. The results showed that some of direct paths of character strengths to academic engagement and well-being academic were significant but all of indirect paths of character strengths to academic well-being and academic engagement through the use of the character strength were positive and significant. Accordingly, schools should be creating opportunity that students can used of their strengths. Key words: character strength, academic engagement, academic well-being

Development literature show that the main concern of international organizations and scholars and scientific and research centers in the third millennium is human education and scientific development as an effective factor in development. This research aims to investigate the time series of the impact of science and technology on development. The type of this longitudinal research is time series and is intended to estimate, predict the time series of the impact and the trend of science and technology on development in the period 1980-2015 in 12 selected countries. The Selected countries have been selected in a targeted way the results of data analysis with R software show that by analyzing the significant difference between countries in the variable of human resources and education and technology variables by ANOVA, Significant differences between countries are confirmed. The results of dispersion graphs in all selected countries show upward trends. In general, the results indicate that growth and development during the 1980s to 2015 is on the rise and the trend of the impact of education and technology variables on development is on the upside, too.

The purpose of this study was to present a structural model of virtuous leadership in order to predict job aspiration, job satisfaction and innovative behaviors based on organizational commitment, organizational climate and management strategies in 1398. The research method was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of data collection. The statistical population of the study consisted of 2522 faculty members of Azad University units in Tehran province. Due to the different nature of Azad University, using the Krejcie and Morgan table and initially by stratified sampling, 350 individuals were considered as sample size. Data were collected using standard questionnaire from Cheraghi et al. (1998). After collecting the questionnaires, data were analysed by mean, standard deviation, etc. using Spss-21 software and statistical inference through structural equation modelling using LISREL-v8.80. The technical characteristics of the questionnaire including reliability, convergent validity, and divergent validity were investigated. In addition, path coefficients and software significant coefficients were used to investigate the research hypotheses. Finally, the findings of the study confirmed the impact of virtuous leadership in predicting job aspiration, job satisfaction and innovative behaviors based on organizational commitment, organizational climate and management strategies.
