Abstract

This study investigates the impact of spiritual intelligence on mental health in public school teachers, high
school for girls in Tehran at 2013-2014. The pollution of research was including 7241 teachers of Tehran
public high school whom, 547 people was considered as sample by using Cochran formula and sampling
method of rational random classification. The data collection method was based on questionnaires.
Questionnaires reliability calculated for king (2008) spiritual intelligence questionnaire and Goldberg
(1979) mental health questionnaire more than 0.7. Also content validity test used who for this reason
questionnaires confirmed by relative experts. The analysis of obtained data from questionnaires
implementation was done by Spss and Pls software in two part. One of them is descriptive part (Frequency,
frequency percent, mean, standard deviation) and another one is illative part (structural equation
modelling). The result showed that spiritual intelligence had significant impact on mental health in teachers
of Tehran public high school.
