Abstract

The research is a descriptive-analytic study that is done cross-sectionally to investigate the role of jihadi Islamic lifestyle in predicting coping strategies with stress and optimism in 1395. The population studied is a population. The statistical population of this study includes all students of Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch of Tehran, in 1395 (97 people). Therefore, cluster sampling method was used to determine the sample. Among them, 100 students (54 girls and 46 boys) were selected by random sampling. They answered three Islamic Life Style Questionnaire (ILST) and Later and Lopper’s Coping Strategies Questionnaire (LOT) questionnaire. SPSS 22 and multiple regression were used to analyze the data. In this research, the Cronbach's alpha method was used to determine the reliability. Cronbach's alpha coefficient for these tools was calculated to be 0.706, 0.861, 0.860, respectively. The results of regression analysis showed that the total of 5 predictors of science, worship, health, social and thinking, 49.1% of the emotional-oriented coping style (P <0.01), and a total of 5 variables of worship, beliefs, family, Health and timing explains 61.8% of the emotional-focused coping style (P <0.01). Also, a total of 4 predictive variables such as worship, beliefs, health, and science-thinking also explain 52.9% of optimism (P <0.01). Since the Islamic lifestyle in general and the lifestyle of Islamic-Baha'is in particular are related to different aspects of life in Iranian culture, experts who are in some way connected with the therapeutic and preventive issues should be involved in their interventions, lifestyle modification Islamic-jihadis also consider people.
