The statistical population of the study consists of all primary school teachers of Mahabad city (965 people) in the period 2023-2024, of which 265 people were selected to participate in the research using a simple random sampling method. To collect the required information, level-five leadership questionnaires (Shariat Nejad et al., 2018), empowerment of school staff (Rinehart and Short,1995), and extra-role behaviors (Oregon and Kanoski,1983) were used. The data was analyzed using the structural equation method based on the three-step approach of partial least squares. Results: The results showed that level five leadership style had a positive and significant effect on extra-role behaviors and teacher empowerment. Also, teacher empowerment had a direct and significant effect on teachers' extra-role behaviors and teacher empowerment had a mediating role regarding the effect of level five leadership style on teachers' extra-role behaviors. Conclusion: According to the results, it can be said that to promote extra-role behaviors among teachers, paying attention to level five leadership style and empowering teachers seems necessary.

Empowering the teaching staff is required for the development and progress of education-oriented organizations in the face of global changes. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to elaborate on the background model of strategies and consequences of competitive advantages based on the empowerment of faculty members and university professors. In this applied paper, a qualitative methodology based on the foundation theory was employed. The study population consisted of educational elites (faculty members and experienced professors) in non-profit and private universities and institutions of higher education in Mashhad. The subjects were selected using snowball sampling. The data collection tool was a semi-structured interview and the data obtained from the interviews were coded and analyzed. After grouping the codes, 10 main categories, 57 sub-categories and 50 concepts were obtained, which were organized in a paradigm model as strategies (strategic thinking, organizational transformation, organizational innovation and career innovation) and consequences (organizational culture development, organizational development, productivity and social development, environmental development and strategic thinking). The results suggested the process of developing competitive advantage strategies based on empowering university professors. Given the broad range of a university’s customers, it is recommended that the managers of higher education institutions develop expert projects to identify and foster the necessary capabilities and competencies for university professors, recruiting human resources based on their skills and capabilities. The universities will continue to grow in the field of education and research, and this growth will lead to the development of a competitive advantage

A cross-sectional approach was used. The statistical population of the qualitative section includes 12 executives of the university with a targeted and quantitative sampling of 750 people in the statistical population, 254 sample volunteers using Cochran formula, and cluster random sampling. Data collection tools in the qualitative part of the semi-structured interviews, in the small section, three questionnaires are made by organizational transparency, empowerment and organizational trust. For data analysis, coding was used in the qualitative section, and in the small part, exploratory-confirmatory factor analysis was used. Verility reliability was calculated by computing the Cronbach's alpha coefficient, content and content, respectively, through confirmatory factor analysis. To fit the model and hypothesis test, SPSS and Smart Pls were used. The results of the analysis of qualitative data derived from deep interviews showed that transparency an organization of 15 sub-modules and 4 financial, managerial, technology and structural dimensions that have had the most impact on organizational transparency, respectively. The organizational transparency and its dimensions are also enhanced by empowering managers with a standardized standard of 991.0 and organizational trust with a standardized standard of 0.332 There is a direct and meaningful relationship GOF (0.632) showed that the proposed model has suitable fit.

The purpose of this study was to test the relationship between the role of educational groups and the quality of teachers' performance with the mediating role of their empowerment in Yasuj high schools. The study was a correlational study. Participants included 201 teachers (111 males, 90 females) Yasuj high schools in the academic year of 93-92 who were selected by stratified sampling. All of them completed the scale of the role of educational groups, the quality of performance, and empowerment. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling using LISREL software. The findings showed that the role of educational groups directly affects structural empowerment. The role of the training groups directly has a structural effect on the quality of the work. The role of educational groups indirectly affects the quality of performance through the empowerment mediator. We conclude that the role of educational groups can be directly empowered and affect the quality of performance. Also, the role of educational groups indirectly and through empowerment can affect the quality of performance. The implications of the findings were discussed.
