Identifying and Presenting a Network of Organizational Coaching Themes for Universities Managers

Abstract Coaching managers in the organization, as one of the effective methods in developing human resources, can be an essential skill for training employees and increasing effective employee behaviors. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to identify and present a network of organizational coaching topics for university managers, which was done qualitatively. The research method was inductive content analysis with inductive approach. The field of research was 45 titles of text contained in scientific databases from 1999 to 2019. Findings showed that after eliminating duplicate themes and summarizing similar themes, 50 basic themes, then 9 organizing themes (development of organizational interactions, participatory management, formation of efficient teams, emphasis on human relations, ethics, human resource development, goal orientation, formulation) Performance indicators (organizational learning cycle design) and finally 3 categories of inclusive themes were identified under the headings of (Organizational synergy, humanistic approach and process-oriented). Using the opinion of experts and university professors, its content validity was obtained using the Lawshe method and all themes were confirmed. Also, using Holsti's method, the reliability of this step was 0.94. Finally, a network of themes for universities managers was designed and presented.

Provide a structural model of the relationship between spiritual intelligence and organizational performance based on the Ochio model (Case study: Employees of universities and educational institutions in Kermanshah province)

Abstract The overall goal of the study was to provide a structural model of the relationship between spiritual intelligence and organizational performance based on the Chiu model. The research method of the present study was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population included all employees of universities and educational institutions in Kermanshah province, and the research sample included 374 people were selected using random sampling method. The research instruments included the Hershey and Gold Smith Organizational Organizational Performance Standard Questionnaire (2009), and the Kink Spiritual Intelligence Questionnaire (2009). Were. The results of the main research hypothesis showed that spiritual intelligence has a positive and significant relationship with organizational performance (T-value = 16.35). Also, the dimension of critical existential thinking of spiritual intelligence with organizational performance (r = 0.755, P <0.01), the dimension of producing personal meaning of spiritual intelligence with organizational performance (r = 0.832, P <0.01), the sublime dimension of spiritual intelligence with organizational performance (r = 0.802, P <0.01) and finally the expansion of the state of consciousness of spiritual intelligence with organizational performance (r = 0.679, P <0.01) has a positive and significant relationship. Therefore, it is suggested that managers of different departments of universities and educational institutions in Kermanshah province have a special view on spiritual intelligence in order to improve organizational performance.

Designing the Triple Strategies for Internationalization of Selected Iranian Public Universities

Abstract The purpose of the present study was to develop a model of the three strategies of internationalization of selected public universities in Iran. This study is a qualitative research that has been carried out using data base theory theory. In this regard, the central phenomenon of the above study is defined as internationalization in line with the mission of state universities in the country. The statistical population of this study consisted of managers and experts of 16 selected public universities of the country including: Tehran, Shahid Beheshti, Tarbiat Modarres, Kharazmi, Amir Kabir, Sharif Sanat, Science and Technology, Allameh Tabatabai, Khajeh Nasir, Al-Zahra, Ferdowsi Mashhad, Shiraz, Isfahan, Tabriz, Isfahan Industrial and Zanjan basic sciences, and the number of participants using purposeful sampling method was 82 people. The validity and reliability of the data were investigated using two methods of participant review and expert review. Research strategies have been identified and analyzed in accordance with the three functions of the university in the fields of education, research and services, each with ten components, with 140, 75 and 120 open codes, respectively. The end result is that internationalization of public universities in the country requires proper planning and simultaneous actions in all three areas of education, research and services through sufficient attention given to the mission orientation of the above universities.

Identifying professional competencies of university staff appropriate to their career path (Case Study: Ferdowsi University of Mashhad)

Abstract The purpose of this study was to identify the professional competencies of the staff of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad using an exploratory mixed research approach. The research method used in the qualitative part of the case study and in the quantitative part was descriptive-analytical. In the qualitative part of the study, the expected competencies of staff were identified by analyzing the content of university approved documents (including university job classification and evaluation booklet as well as the university strategic document). Then the list of identified competencies was completed and modified by referring to the staff supervisors. In the quantitative part of the research, the importance of the competencies identified in the career path of the staff was assessed by means of a questionnaire. The results of the qualitative part of the study showed that the competencies identified for the university staff can be classified into five categories of self-centered competencies: personal, interpersonal, perceptual, organizational and technical. The results of the quantitative part of the research also showed that from the perspective of employees, personal competencies are most important in their career path and in the next level are organizational, perceptual, technical and interpersonal competencies.

Identifying Classification and Prioritization the Factors Affecting the University Academic Authority

Abstract To help improve the quality of the state higher education system, the current study aimed at identifying and ranking the factors which affect the academic authority of universities.(A Case Study on Imam Reza International University, Peace Upon Him) This study is an applied one with respect to its aim and is a library and Delphi one concerning its quality. Applying the library method, this research identified a series of factors which affect the academic authority of universities, and then it investigated and finalized them through reaching a consensus among a group of experts. The members of this group of 15 were selected by means of snowball sampling and the priorities of the above mentioned factors were determined through analytic hierarchy process. The factors affecting the university academic authority were identified in the form of 902 primary subject matters, and after being screened and classified at various levels, they were defined in the form of 45 sub factors and each was ranked according to its level of importance. Based on the viewpoints expressed by the experts group and according to importance, the factor of educating and empowering a human capital that has self-confidence and entrepreneurial skills was ranked first in the series of factors which affect the university academic authority. The existence of a national and transnational synergistic academic network was ranked second and the factor of creating an appropriate pyramid of faculty members by employing qualified and specialized forces had the third priority.

Managers Performance Analysis of Golestan Province Universities by Synergistic Leadership Approach

Abstract Statistical society in qualities part is 25 members from professors of universities of Golestan state and in quantities part 193members from all of university managers. A sample of this study in qualities part with purposive sampling is 15 members and in quantities part with cluster random sampling is 193 members. For gathering data was used synergetic leadership questionnaire with 95 components and manager’s performance of Golestan universities. composite reliability of questionnaire for all variables showed high level of 0/1.for analyze data in descriptive statistic frequency tables, frequency percent, in frontal statistics from KMO test was used. The results showed synergetic leadership in four dominations affective on manager's performance in universities of Golestan province. The performance is also related to Medical University.

Abstract Human resources meet an organization demands during a long term and succession planning is a process for preparation and renovation of these resources. This research has investigated the process of establishment of management succession planning in university by using the plan of data base theory.  For this purpose, 17 people were interviewed, those who were policymakers in the area of higher education , the present and past mangers of universities at different administrative and academic levels , authors of the subject, experts in the area of human resources and informed faculty members in the domain of the research.  The data was collected from the interviews ., The results of data during three stages of open , pivotal and selective coding was of twelve general areas which in a paradigm model framework included: causative conditions (discourse building, scientific vision, maturity and accountability system), focal item (meritology), strategies of establishment (empowerment and management of talent) , ground (supportive environment and atmosphere, participation of beneficiaries and stability), interferer conditions (academic autonomy) , and consequences (empowerment) , reflect the process of establishment of management succession planning in university and the relationships among its various dimensions.
