Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the use of virtual social networks and the quality of learning experiences in high school students in Kashan. This research is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of research method, it is a descriptive correlation type. The statistical population consisted of 205 first grade high school students (girls) in Kashan who were studying in the academic year of 1995-94. According to Morgan table, 100 subjects were selected as sample. A cluster sampling method has been used to select the samples. The research instrument is the Newman Learning Experience Quality Questionnaire. Pearson correlation coefficient was used for data analysis using SPSS computer program. Pearson correlation coefficient showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the use of virtual social networks and the quality of learning experiences at alpha level of 0.01. Also, Pearson correlation coefficient showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the amount of use of virtual social networks with the quality components of learning experiences (quality of resources, quality of content, flexibility and student-student relationship) at alpha level of 0.01.
